Paul J. Napoli, Founding Member and Partner of Napoli Shkolnik, brought more than 31 years of legal experience to his primary areas of practice including governmental affairs, environmental law and mass tort litigation. He was widely recognized as one of the country’s top litigators, having successfully led numerous high-profile cases such as the World Trade Center litigation, the Flint Water Crisis and claims brought on behalf of local cities and states involving the Opioid Epidemic. Paul was well-known for his ability to oversee large-scale complex cases involving large multi-billion-dollar corporations, including contamination caused by PFAS, also known as ‘forever chemicals’. Notably in the AFFF litigation affecting America’s public water systems, Paul successfully negotiated settlements over $15 billion with defendants.
